Abigail Griffith, Lambeth London – English Delftware Parakeet Charger, mid 18th century

Beloved English delft pattern, the Parrakeet on branch within a rock and flower landscape. This particular pattern has been attributed to the Lambeth High Street pottery of Abigail Griffith.

Circa 1765-75.

Painted in polychrome colors of yellow, red green and blue. With a border pattern of three pine cones.
Good quality of painting

Fair condition; Usual chipping and wear consistent with age. Crazing to the glaze and slight hairline (see picture)
