Dutch Delft – pair of Delft blue bowls, 18th century

Pair of Dutch Delft faience bowls, dating to the 18th century, hand-painted in cobalt blue on a tin-glazed white ground, inspired on Chinese porcelain. Each bowl has a flaring wall and sits on a straight foot. It is painted in blue with a floral ornament decoration. Around the exterior wall are five panels, each filled with flowers. The spaces between the panels are decorated with a single flower surrounded by scrolling motifs.
