From 24 to 27 September, I took part in Brussels Art Square for the first time with JustLoveAntiques, as a guest exhibitor at Jonathan Kugel’s gallery.
During the event, galleries in Brussels’ historic Sablon district open their doors to visitors exploring art and antiques. For four days, my collection of antique Delftware, Spanish lustreware, Italian maiolica and Japanese porcelain became part of that setting.
What I enjoyed most was meeting collectors and enthusiasts and welcoming them into the gallery, surrounded by my pieces. It was lovely to look at the ceramics together, answer questions and share our enthusiasm.
Thank you to everyone who came by, whether to browse, talk or share a glass of champagne.
I was sorry to take it all down after just four days, especially the plate walls. Back in Delft, I am already thinking about the next opportunity. I would love to do this again.
