A set of 18th century Dutch Polychrome Delftware plates with a fluted body and a scalloped rim.
Each plate is decorated in polychrome with a central floral composition, typically arranged as a stylized bouquet issuing from a small mound, with individual blossoms and foliage spreading across the well.
The plates are executed in tin-glazed earthenware and remain unmarked, as is common in the 18th century. The glaze shows the usual irregularities associated with 18th century Delft production, and the reverse retains traces of kiln supports.
The condition is consistent with age and use, including fritting and minor chips to the edges.
