A set of four 18th century Dutch Delftware plates with a fluted body and a flat, scalloped rim, each painted in polychrome.

The finely painted decoration is arranged with three floral sprays placed on the rim. Each spray is composed of a large rose in manganese, combined with yellow flowers, smaller iron-red blossoms, and finely drawn green foliage. The elements are outlined in manganese and carefully filled, with a controlled and detailed application of colour. The well is largely left open and is decorated with a small central sprig and a few scattered floral elements.

A rare set, distinguished by the precision and refinement of the painting.

The condition is consistent with age and use, including minor fritting and small edge chips.
