Dutch Delft polychrome plate with lively polychrome decoration of a central Louis XIV ornamental creation crowed by a vase on a stand filled with flowers. Very ornate border with alternating cartouches tracery and foliate scrolls.

Mark: IVL Johannes van Lockhorst and Margaretha van Lockhorst-van der Gucht, owners of De Klaauw, 1713-1740

Fair condition: regular chipping and some usual wear to the rim, hairline.
